One problem related to clutch pedal/linkage has been reported for the 2005 Dodge SRT-4. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have been "locked-out" of gear in my 2005 Srt-4 multiple times. Even with the clutch pedal is fully and properly pressed, the transmission refuses to shift and engage a gear. This has happened to me in first, second, and third gear. When it occurs, I am stuck in neutral, unable to accelerate. This has happened in traffic many times. Just today I was unable to engage third gear while going down an on-ramp, so I was stuck coasting down into rapidly moving traffic. Though I was eventually able to get into gear, it was quite harrowing. Dodge needs to perform a recall on this transmission before it does cause someone to become seriously injured in an accident.
