Oil leakages while driving, vehicle taken to dealer and informed of a blown head gasket. Feel free to provide any further information.
Transmission: auto was parked, but would not go into reverse. Auto would have to be stopped and restatred to procedd a few hundred feet. Called for tow. Cyl. Head: auto leaked oil, went to dealer. Dealer said it was cyl. Head, but I never saw the problem. Tie rods: noise in front end. Tie rods were ready to fall off. Still a noise; maybe stabilizer bars or ball joint. I have owned many vehicles, but this was my first Chrysler product--- and the last! numerous other problems, but dealer did respond.
Oil leak on engine has been continous since I purchased the car.
There is an oil leak coming from the engine head gasket. Also, engine block is leaking onto the ground. When driving the oil is blowing all over the place.

I feel the failure of the head gasket and oil leak could have caused the cam sensor to go out. 3 weeks prior they had performed a recal on the pcm module, which is connected to the cam sensor. They are saying totally unrelated.

When I went to the dealership to see what was wrong he inform me that they have had a lot of problems with this model and he has had to replace several head gasket from others. Increasing engine oil leakage evident from between the engine to transmission junction but does not appear to originate from the head assembly (I. E. Valve cover), possibly the main bearing or ?oil galley plug?.

I have to replace it again. The car has always seemed to have some form of oil leak since purchasing or it has always consumed the oil. I had to pay the entire cost the first time for the repairs and would appreciate it if the company would take care of some if not all of the costs this time. When car was checked for oil, oil was leaking, oil light never came on. Oil was changed in June, dealer contacted, and manufacturer will assist in repair work funds, assumed the head gaskets wer e leaking.

Consumer was changing the oil in the vehicle and when the consumer put oil in the vehicle, the oil kept going down due to a leak. When driving the oil will leak out of the engine.

I have been told by the dealer that they are having a great deal of engines of my typ come in for there head gasket. I was also told that Dodge was recalling and paying for the repair for a while but stopped. This car started leaking a very small amount of oil before the warrenty went out but I didn't think it was very serious at the time so I did nothing. Now it is up to 2 qt a week now and will cost me over $800. 00 to repair.
Galley plugs in engine would leak oil. Would need to continuously put oil in vehicle. Have taken vehicle to dealership for repairs , andwas informed that could not do anything because vehicle was out of warranty. Repairs will not be done.
