Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1998 Dodge Stratus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brakes are wearing, possibly the rotors, causing brakes to make a grinding noise when applied.
Brake rotors have completely rusted through with less than 30,000 miles due to bad mixture of manufacturing of brake rotors.
