Two problems related to alternator/generator/regulator have been reported for the 1997 Ford Aspire. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Distributor shorted out/ multi fuction switch malfuctioned/ alternator malfuction altenator broke off housing.
Have had problem since the first day I bought this car, continue to have problems. . Am now leaking oil and losing coolant.
