My 2023 Ford Bronco is experiencing cracking and delamination on its molded-in-color (mic) hardtop roof. [add a sentence here describing your specific damage, e. G. , the cracks are visible on the exterior corners / the roof is beginning to leak water into the cabin]. This structural failure matches the exact defect described in Ford's may 2026 recall for 2021–2022 models. Ford has excluded the 2023 model year from the recall, claiming a manufacturing change fixed the issue, but the root material defect and the resulting safety risks—potential roof panel structural failure, pieces detaching at highway speeds, or water intrusion damaging electrical components—are identical. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate and force Ford to expand the recall parameters to include 2023 models.

Cracking, delamination on top. Leaking near the front windshield when raining. Have saw recalls for these issues on certain models. Not sure why Ford didn't include these models in the recalls since it's doing the exact same thing. This is not a misused or mishandled issue, it is a manufactured defect. Please advise us as to if there is anything going on to fix this situation. Thank you very much.

Cracking of the roof which has caused leaks. Common issue for Broncos, but only recalled for 2021-2022 Broncos. My Bronco is 2023 and has the same issue. It should also be a recall.

When making a right turn with the turn signal on, as you complete the turn and straighten the steering wheel the left turn signal turns on as the right turn signal turns off. This is intermittent and occurs when turning from a complete stop or a turn while moving. This is very unsafe as it looks like your making a quick left after completing your right turn to the driver behind you. This has happened many times over the last couple of months so I don’t have a date of incident but it happened 6 times while running errands on 8/29. Lafontaine Ford has had my vehicle in service all day today, 9/1, without resolution.

Windshield is leaking water/rain inside vehicle. I have it at all american Ford old bridge,NJ, for 15 days now and they want to charge me portion $256. 76 plus tax. But, the Bronco has recall 222c12 or 25c52. I was willing to pay not knowing that there as a recall but they said if it breaks or cracks or chips while doing work they are not responsible to cover new windshield. Please advise. They show on Ford recall website the recall complete, but my windshield was never removed, resealed and reinstalled. So that is a lie/fraud on all american Ford part. Please help. I have 2 other major issues with Bronco as well which are recalls that they made me pay for or did not resolve as of yet. I already paid for a middle roof panel and now front passenger roof panel must be replaced (recall 26s32) and they say it is not part of recall. And, the safety concern is the car just turned off on major highway 2 different episods one in may on NJ turnpike I was almost hit from behind and the other was on route 35 in seaside park, NJ in August. Same dealership said they can't experience it so they cannot diagnose and repair it. It is the fuel pump/loss of power issue #26v236000. The car has to be restarted and there is no warning. I am very worried about this.

On xxx, our 2023 Ford Bronco, VIN [xxx], was stopped on an incline. The vehicle was not moving, and the driver exited the vehicle believing it was in park. The vehicle was actually still in drive. A passenger remained in the vehicle. While the Bronco was stationary, the passenger pressed the start/stop button from the passenger seat to turn the vehicle off. Immediately after the vehicle was switched off, it began rolling backward down the incline. The passenger was unable to safely stop the vehicle and attempted to exit the moving Bronco. The open vehicle door struck the passenger in the back of the leg/hip area. The passenger had to throw herself to the ground to avoid being dragged, run over, or more seriously injured. The Bronco went off a significant drop off and crashed into a tree. The passenger narrowly escaped the vehicle before it went over the drop off. After the incident, the vehicle displayed a "park aid fault" warning. Ford's 2023 Bronco owner's manual states that a "transmission not in park (p)" audible warning is supposed to sound if the vehicle is switched off before being shifted into park and also if the driver's door is opened before the vehicle is shifted into park. [if true: we do not recall hearing a transmission not in park warning before the rollaway. ] I am concerned that the vehicle remained stationary on the incline while still in drive, creating the appearance that it was secured, but began rolling backward when the start/stop button was pressed. I am also concerned about whether the transmission-not-in-park warning, braking/holding systems, ignition system, and related safety systems functioned as designed. The unexpected rollaway resulted in an injury and created an immediate risk of the passenger being crushed, dragged, or run over. I request that NHTSA investigate whether this vehicle's behavior and warning systems operated as designed and whether this represents a potential vehicle safety defect. The vehicle was parked in my garage, engaging from park to drive. The glass blew out from the inside out and the struts shot outward. Luckily, there was no injuries caused by this, but if I were to be driving it could have caused an accident. The dealership said that the manufacturer would deny the claim that there was a manufacturing defect and I went through insurance to correct the issue. There were no warnings, lights, or otherwise associated with this sudden window break.

It’s a safety risk. Heat or spark at this short may cause smoke or ignite nearby flammable components. Smoke or fire from the engine compartment area increases the risk of injury or a crash. A remedy is not yet available.

After making a right hand turn, when the steering wheel recenters for some unknown reason it is turning on the left turn signal. I had noticed it in the past and thought I was wrong, but it continuing to do it.

Component or system that failed/malfunctioning:climate control system / rear passenger cabin ventilation. Is the component available for inspection?yes, the vehicle and the climate control system are completely intact, unaltered, and available for physical inspection upon request. Description of incident & safety risks:there is little to no airflow reaching the rear passenger seating area of the vehicle. The 4-door 2021 Ford Bronco relies entirely on hidden, under-seat floor ducts to regulate back-seat temperatures, as it lacks center console or upper b-pillar vents. Under normal operation, the air reaching the back row is severely restricted, leaving the rear cabin isolated from proper climate regulation. My safety and the safety of others have been severely put at risk during travel. Because of the near-zero airflow, the rear passenger compartment quickly traps extreme ambient heat or freezing cold. This environment is highly unsafe for vulnerable occupants riding in the back seat—specifically young children, elderly family members, and animals—who cannot properly regulate their body temperatures and face an immediate risk of heat exhaustion, heatstroke, or hypothermia. Additionally, the lack of air circulation creates a critical safety hazard by causing severe fogging on the rear side windows, obstructing driver blind-spot visibility and increasing crash risks. Dealer/service confirmation & manufacturer inspection:the problem has not yet been confirmed by a Ford dealer or independent service center, nor has the vehicle or system been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others. The vehicle remains exactly as it was when the issue was identified. Warning lamps, messages, or prior symptoms:there were absolutely no dashboard warning lamps, digital error messages, or physical symptoms prior to this issue. The lack of adequate airflow is a continuous condition.

When the vehicle is in "eco" mode, and an attempt is made to rapidly accelerate in an emergency situation, pressing the accelerator pedal to the floor results in a significant delay before * engine response is detected, far beyond what is reasonable for a normal gasoline powered vehicle. In several situations, I was in heavy traffic; traffic in the lane in which I was travelling was relatively slow. I attempted to change lanes into an adjacent lane in which traffic was moving much faster. When traffic allowed, I merged into the faster lane, and pressed the accelerator pedal to the floor. Prior to pressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle was moving approximately 20 mph. Nothing happened for several seconds, and then the vehicle suddenly accelerated. During the period of non-response, traffic in the faster lane caught up to my vehicle. I am able to reproduce the issue 100%. The dealer's response is that "it's normal" (typical service response) and there was no attempt to investigate. I have driven several identical make/model vehicles belonging to friends, and one dealer vehicle (test drive) and they all exhibit the same issue. There are no warning lamps, errors, codes, or any indication that any system is faulty. The high latency in the throttle control system is clearly an ecu programming issue, and it increases the risk of collision. I have only observed this issue in models of this vehicle with an automatic transmission. I do own an identical model of this vehicle with a manual transmission, and this issue is not present.

2025 Ford Bronco raptor right passenger fender flew off at highway speed on Jun 10, 2026 - took it to Ford for repair, repaired, and it has happened again today Jul 23, 2026; was able to reattach fender with clasps still in place; have also notified local Ford dealership on issue again.

Complete clutch failure at 39,000 miles. Unable to shift or safely restart vehicle once stopped. Clutch hydraulic line came completely apart. Ford part number mb3z-7a512-a. Failure verified by independent sae certified mechanic. Note: clutch and brakes feed from the same reservoir, so loss of clutch hydraulic fluid also impacts entire braking system.

Latch for the swing gate is locked in the closed position so the swing gate will not latch closed. It swings open while driving.

Recall from last July not having a remedy to fix yet.

Summary of the safety problem: a 2026 Ford Bronco rolled out of its parked position with no occupants, despite being left in park, and collided with another vehicle. Full description of the incident: the Ford Bronco was placed in park, was not running, and had no occupants. I exited the vehicle several times to reinstall the removable roof panels. The vehicle remained stationary during this process. After completing the roof panel installation, my wife and I closed the doors and trunk and we walked toward the building. A witness (the owner of the other car that was involved in car collision ) confirmed that the Bronco was still parked where we left it. A short time later, we learned that the Bronco had rolled out of its parking spot and struck a parked car. The Bronco had not been touched, driven, or moved by anyone after we walked away that we were aware of. There were no warning signs that we were aware of. The police were at the scene and filed a report. This was a enterprise car rental vehicle with approx. 1,300 miles. I am unsure if this vehicle has been inspected by enterprise. Damage / injuries: •collision with a parked car. •no injuries reported. •police report filed (attached). •photos available (attached). Why this is a safety defect: a vehicle that rolls away while in park violates the intent of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) 114, which aims to prevent accidental rollaway. This Bronco should not have moved under any circumstances once placed in park. What you request NHTSA to investigate: •whether the 2026 Ford Bronco has a defect in its park mechanism, parking brake system, or electronic controls that can cause unintended rollaway. •whether similar complaints exist for this model year. •whether a recall or inspection campaign is warranted to prevent future incidents. My infotainment screen goes blank when I backup instead of displaying my backup camera. There is an active recall on this but there is no remedy and no estimated remedy date. Ford motor company is only prioritizing 2026 model years so they can sell brand new vehicles. They are not trying to fix previous model years. This poses a safety risk that can result in a crash and/or death. Cars are required by law to have a backup camera, so Ford is breaking the law by not fixing this issue.

Regarding this recall notice 26s09/26v124 this camein the mail Friday, 3 days to late to prevent a accident. On that previous Tuesday, while backing out of the garage in full sunshine I backed straight into my wife's vehicle parked to the side. No warning sensors, no alarms. Progressive insurance is handling the claims, but I am still going to be out of pocket my 500 dollars deductible plus rental car charges. I can provide all information you might require, but I certainly feel this safety recall led up yi this incident.

*question 1 the top part of the fender flare on rear driver side was not properly welded/glued to bottom part of fender flare. It peeled off and flew while driving down the highway. *question 2 the top fender flew off while I was driving. It could have hit another car behind. I also don't feel safe having the other fenders on my vehicle. If one's faulty, I have concerns the others will also come apart while driving *question 3 took my vehicle to dealership service center to report the incident (dealership: group 1 Ford of kennesaw). They took pics of the faulty fender and asked me to open a case with Ford customer service. The dealership said Ford was aware of the issue, but they couldn't replace because the part is not under any current warranty programs. Ford's manufacturer customer service made the same excuse. Asked for email confirming my case complaint. . They didn't send documentation (case # cxh-07394045-c3y9m4) *question 4 I called the manufacturer's customer service to review the incident with the dealership. They wouldn't cover the replacement because my vehicle had just exceeded the milage on their limited bumper-to-bumper warranty. . Which is 36,000 or 3 years. My Bronco is only 2 years. I've never driven it off road and have been taking it to the dealership regularly for routine maintenance. The fender flare is an original factory part that should not have come apart while I was driving. Was surprised to see it fly off while driving, until I did a google search and found that this has happened to many other Bronco owners while driving. I've seen many owners post pics with the same exact part come off while driving. I'd be happy to share multiple links as evidence of the safety concern with this fender part. *question 5 no signs until the part flew and we could see that fender wasn't properly welded together. Again, my vehicle has been taken to the dealership routinely for maintenance and they didn't notice the issue until the part came off.

Crain Ford in jacksonville arkansas (72076) sold me this vehicle while it was under a national stop-sale with an active recall and expected me to make payments on the loan while they held the vehicle for several months.

I am sending this to anonymously report a critical compliance issue at stivers Ford in birmingham, alabama. They are actively selling brand-new vehicles with active safety recalls. Dealership employees have openly admitted to taking brand-new, never-titled vehicles and delivering them to end consumers. They are doing this even though recall 26s09 is still active and it has absolutely no remedy available right now. This is a huge safety problem. The proof: • stock b9380, VIN [xxx] • stock b9259, VIN [xxx] these two units are just the tip of the iceberg. I am confident that a deeper look will uncover many more cases across all of their dealerships. We need to look into this and make sure they stop delivering unsafe vehicles immediately. I am submitting a safety complaint regarding my Ford vehicle’s infotainment screen failure, which has been identified under a recall but currently has no available remedy or repair timeline. When the screen goes blank or becomes unresponsive, I lose access to critical safety features, including the rearview camera, which is federally required. This significantly increases the risk of accidents while reversing, especially in areas with pedestrians. The system also affects access to navigation, hands-free communication, and important vehicle alerts, forcing me to either drive without these features or become distracted trying to compensate. Although Ford has acknowledged this issue, there is no clear timeline for a fix, and no accommodations have been provided. I am expected to continue driving a vehicle that does not meet expected safety standards, which puts both myself and others at risk. I rely on my vehicle daily, including transporting passengers, and the lack of a functioning safety system is a serious concern. The absence of communication and support from Ford regarding a resolution is also concerning. Differential carrier replacement due to metal contmination being found in differential during oil change and a transmission overhaul due to excessive wear of(clutch container, cdf bushing, forward hub and front support bushings). They also noted a sticking valve in the main control on my 2022 Ford Bronco 2. 7l v6 when taken in to dealership to evaluate vehichle under warranty due to ongoing intermittent thump/clunking noise when coming to a stop and accelerating from a stop as well as when backing up from a stop and while driving as well, intermittent loud metal slapping sound at speeds over 60 mph, intermittent jerking of vehichle when cycling through gears, unexpected downshift at high speeds. After differential replacement and transmission overhaul due to excessive wear while under warranty, my vehichle continues to experience the same symptoms and problems and feel this is a safety issue.

The instrument cluster panel goes black and stays blacked out for driving from startup to shutdown. This does not occur consistently, but it occurs often and unpredictably and is occurring more and more often. Attempted to have dealership fix and they want to replace the instrument cluster panel. This is a safety issue for basic functionality of the vehicle. Ford has had this issue identified during other years of Bronco production but appears unwilling to fix it in all of them.

Rear window (rear flip up over tail gate) spontaniously shattered and required full replacement.

A serious safety recall advised in July of 2025 still has not been fixed.

The vehicle was parked and not in operation when a fire occurred. There was no collision or impact. The fire originated in the vehicle and caused significant damage. Emergency services responded to extinguish the fire. The vehicle had been properly maintained and there were no aftermarket modifications. The cause of the fire is unknown at this.

Mic hardtop is cracking and honeycomb.

Front camera only works about 1/4 of the time. Most of the time its just black.

Ford has 3 safety recalls on 2021 Ford Bronco and they have no remedy to fix any of them yet. My car stalled out 3 times now because of the low pressure fuel pump failure recall. I was pulling out into traffic and it stalled out while a car was coming at me. The only solution Ford had was to put old parts in the car which I refused. I asked for a loaner vehicle and they said they don’t have any. Recall warning is going on 6 months. I am at a risk and other people are at a risk having my car on the road, tried lemon law and Ford denied me. Nobody feels safe in my car and someone is going to get seriously hurt if this happens at the wrong time.

The turn signal stalk automatically switches the active turn signal to the opposite turn signal after a turn is completed, with no turn signal sound for the new opposite side signal. This is repeatable and has occurred since the purchase of the new vehicle. Example: engaging the left turn signal using the stalk initiates the left turn signal. However, once the left turn is completed and the stalk clicks back into its neutral position, the right signal is automatically engaged, and there is no sound accompanying the flashing right turn indicator light on the dashboard. Other owners and drivers of this make and model have complained on social media about this issue, which can create havoc in certain traffic situations.

Back piece of hardtop cracked on each side, front three pieces had honeycombing and ripples down each side that you could see and feel. The dealership warrantied them out , but my front three pieces still have issues. The dealerships also told me if this happens outside of my 3yr/36,000mi warranty that they will not fix the issue even though parts typically have a 2 yr warranty on them after being replaced. But, this isn't a normal part, this is my roof/hardtop. This is a safety concern. I never received any lights, messages, or symptoms that I know of. There could have been leaking water in the back part of my Bronco. The safety of others and myself were put at risk because, there were cracks in my roof and what if it cracked all the way through and broke off?.

Rear window of 2024 Bronco spontaneously broke with a loud bang while driving 40 mph down 2 lane smooth asphalt road in town, 55 degrees outside. Only 8000 miles on vehicle. Nobody else was on the road, there are no sidewalks. It would be impossible for a rock or other object to hit it from the back while I was driving 40mph. There was nothing being transported inside the back area of the vehicle and no sudden braking or movements in the car. The entire window exploded into the vehicle while all supporting parts dangled. I drove directly to the Ford dealership who confirmed it, took pictures, vacuumed up the window, and filed a claim, but Ford corporate denied a warranty claim. Similar stories can be found on [xxx] , facebook, reddit, and [xxx] . It sounded like a gunshot and then the interior of the car was sprayed with glass. I assume other glass fell outward as well.
