Ford Bronco owners have reported 63 problems related to other fuel system (under the other fuel system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Ford Bronco based on all problems reported for the Bronco.
Instrument cluster screen blank on start up so vehicle does not show speedometer, gear selection, rpm, fuel gauge, lane keeping selection, and adaptive cruise control selection/engagement. Vehicle however would start up and remain drivable. Instrument cluster screen return to its normal state of his morning after leaving vehicle turned off overnight. This occurred on one other occasion back in may 2026 shortly after purchasing the vehicle. This was only this second instance of this happening since receiving the vehicle in may 2026. I have attached a picture showing both instances. I believe there where previous Bronco models recalled for a similar issue, but don’t believe my model/VIN was included in that recall.

When attempting to accelerate from a stopped position to enter loop [xxx] in [xxx]. My vehicle experienced total loss of power due to failure of the low pressure fuel pump. This created a very dangerous situation as I was attempting to enter the highway from the access road. This event very nearly resulted in a crash that could have caused serious bodily injury or death to me. The vehicle was taken to the closest Ford dealership, red mccombs Ford in [xxx]. The incident was described to the service representative and taken in for diagnosis. The next week, the service representative contacted me to tell me that they were able to replicate the issue in testing and that the low pressure fuel pump had experienced mechanical failure. They said, unfortunately Ford does not have an approved remedy available yet. I told them that I was aware that the failed part was indeed available and had found documented cases where Ford had chosen to approve replacing it for individuals experiencing the same problem. It isn’t a case of a replacement part being available, it is a case of Ford not wanting to replace the failed part and instead attempting to find a software fix that allows for preserving the life of the potentially defective part. However, this is not an acceptable solution once the part has already failed. The service representative stated they were trying to get Ford to authorize the repair, since one is available, but Ford was declining because the had not yet announced an “official recall remedy”. Then I opened a case with Ford customer care and they too declined to fix the issue. When I relayed my concern that driving the vehicle would expose me to serious injury or death, they continued to decline. I asked if it was safe to drive and they said “Ford has not issued instructions to stop driving”. Ford is refusing to repair a known safety recall where they are aware of a remedy exists. My Ford customer care case is cxh-09364617-d9h7v8 information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foi.

Was driving on highway with cruise control set. Vehicle started slowing down, so pressed on gas pedal and no response from vehicle, had to navigate to shoulder and was unable to drive vehicle. No warning that there was any issue. Vehicle has been at dealership for a month. Low pressure fuel pump failure and no parts are available.
Fuel pump. Has low pressure therefore making vehicle stop running completely. Has happened twice , once while driving on highway. This is extremly dangerous to have your vehicle just come to complete dead stop in middle. Of road. Ford has no remedy to fix and now I am without a car I am paying for since it wont start now.

While driving, I experienced the brakes beginning to fail, followed shortly by a complete loss of engine power. My 2021 Ford Bronco is subject to recall 25s75 (NHTSA 25v455) for a low pressure fuel pump defect that can cause loss of fuel pressure or flow and engine stall. I was stranded on the side of the interstate in 100 degree heat with my newborn in the vehicle. This was a dangerous situation, not a minor inconvenience. I had the vehicle towed to an aaa car care center in charlotte, nc, where the fuel pump failure was diagnosed. Aaa could not perform a repair because the issue falls under an open safety recall. I contacted the Ford recall assistance center and was told no remedy is currently available for recall 25s75. I also visited capital Ford charlotte, who confirmed the same, that no remedy exists yet. With the vehicle inoperable and no repair available anywhere, I paid out of pocket for private transport to move the vehicle to my home in newnan, GA, since Ford could not confirm coverage for towing to my home dealership. As of August 12, 2026, NHTSA materials still list the remedy for 25s75 as under development. My vehicle remains inoperable with no path to repair. This is now also preventing me from selling or trading the vehicle. A dealership (buford Toyota) declined to even appraise it because it will not run. I am filing this complaint to document that an open, unremedied safety recall directly caused a vehicle failure that endangered myself and my infant child, and continues to leave the vehicle unusable and unsellable months later.
The structural fuel line located on top of the fuel tank ruptured, causing highly pressurized fuel to actively spray directly toward the hot exhaust piping on my 2022 Ford Bronco (44,657 miles). This failure created an immediate, catastrophic, and potentially fatal fire risk to myself and others. There were no warning lamps, error messages, or prior symptoms leading up to this failure; the severe leak was only discovered after a routine, short-distance trip to and from a local grocery store. The vehicle and the failed component are currently available for inspection upon request. To date, the vehicle has only been inspected by myself and a local Ford dealership. The dealership visually confirmed the leak but improperly misdiagnosed the structural line failure as "rodent damage" without providing any supporting physical evidence. However, multiple online owner forums suggest this specific fuel line failure is a known, systemic manufacturing concern. I escalated this issue to Ford customer service (case #cxh-08762672-f7n2y7), but Ford denied the warranty claim based solely on the dealership's misdiagnosis. My documented physical evidence clearly shows a component manufacturing rupture, not outside damage.
It has been a year since this recall with the fuel pump and I do t feel safe driving my Bronco everytime I start the engine.
Nothing has happened yet, but I dont want to wreck or die waiting for them to create a fix. It has been a year since they issued the recall & they have built year after year of new ones, so either they are continuing to build Broncos with crappy fuel pumps, nor they have better ones that they aren't giving to us that have had the Bronco for years already.
Ford has not come up with a solution in over a year for a faulty fuel pump. Jul 08,2025 manufacturer recall number25s75 NHTSA recall number25v455 recall status: recall incomplete, remedy not yet available. I have not had mine fail or cause an incident yet, but it says to file a complaint if the manufacturer fails to provide a solution in a timely manner.
On 7/19/26, I was driving my 2022 Ford Bronco wildtrak and attempting to turn left across oncoming traffic. When I pressed the accelerator to complete the turn, the vehicle hesitated and failed to accelerate as expected. An approaching vehicle had to decelerate abruptly and honk to avoid a collision. My Bronco is subject to NHTSA recall 25v-455/Ford campaign 25s75 concerning loss of fuel pressure and fuel flow caused by low-pressure fuel-pump failure. I am concerned that the hesitation was related to the recalled fuel-pump condition. There were no injuries or collision, but the loss of expected acceleration created an immediate safety risk. The recall remedy is not currently available. I am requesting that NHTSA document and evaluate this incident.
Simply filing a complaint for the recall on the fuel pump that still has not been remedied over a year ago. I’m hearing stories of people having to replace their fuel pumps and Ford not covering it even though it’s an open recall. Hoping to get more pressure on them to get a remedy. Thank you for all you do!.
My car would not start. Turns out it was the fuel pump/filter low pressure recall issue. It was towed to the dealership and has been there since without a remedy from Ford, despite the recall being released over a year ago. Absolutely ridiculous that my vehicle is being held hostage because the manufacturer has not come up with a remedy.
35 miles out of [xxx] on Monday, xxx our Bronco loss fuel flow in the fast lane of [xxx] and stalled while going 70mph we were surrounded by trucks also going 70mph, unexpectedly mid morning. No warning . Almost got rear ended and had to safely drift over to reach the side of the road. Very terrifying with cars going very fast behind us. We attempted to restart the Bronco and it started a few times and sputtered out. I immediately called the closest Ford dealership gaudin and they dispatched a tow truck. The temperature was very hot and we waited for 1. 5 hrs in the desert sun. The dealer provided a rental but I was not allowed to leave nv nor go more than 50 miles, they confirmed that it was a bad fuel pump. I did not receive the car back until Friday 6/19/26. This incident occurred on my first day of vc planned in [xxx]. My whole vacation was ruined, unexpected expenses, and the stress of having to drive with a defective part when it’s fixed is a problem. We have to drive back to la and I can’t miss work. We took the vehicle to gaupin in la to have it serviced before this trip even an oil change on 6/11/26. They assured us that all was well, only 2 recalls showed up- rear camera and a seat adjustment bolt . Why didn’t the dealer tell us about the fuel pump and the dangers. The VIN number has a listed “1 un-repaired recall - fuel pump dated 7/2025. Manufacturer #xxx, NHTSA# 25v455. No notice has come through the mail and then it states recall incomplete in red. If it was known that the fuel pump could fail, how are owners allowed to drive around without a complete recall, and without a fix. The dealer said they are going to announce on Jun 29. Well in our case that’s a little too late. Am I supposed to drive with a defective fuel system??? they replaced the fuel pump with another new pump that will have the same issue, not a fix. On June 19 later that evening after fueling it up, a service engine light came on with exhaust system issues. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia),.
There has been a safety recall in the fuel pump for almost a year, with documented known issues existing well before the release and Ford has still yet to make a remedy available.
My 2022 Ford Bronco experienced recall 25s75 where fuel pump failed while driving on the freeway outside la near san bernardino. Recall was communicated in July of 2025 and no fix available. How long has Ford been building cars? there were no warnings or symptoms prior to failure. This was extremely dangerous for car to stall in the middle of the freeway, not to mention it was 98 degrees outside. I was able to tow my Bronco to a Ford dealership where they confirmed and fixed the recall fuel pump issue.
Vehicle has surged and stalled randomly, the crash alert warning appears on screen and starts to stop the vehicle with nothing in front of it, I have asked my Ford dealer to remedy the recalls as I have paid over $50,000 for the vehicle and they tell me sorry there are no fixes, I tried to trade it in, and they said they cannot because they have a no sale enforcement on the Bronco and they said if they took it in trade they could not sell it.
My husband was sitting at a stop light when he noticed what appeared to be steam/smoke coming out from under the hood of the Bronco. Then smoke came into the vehicle through the air vents. When he looked up, flames were coming out from under the hood. He got out and the whole front of the car burst into flames and torched the car.

On or about feb10 2026 near [xxx] heading north I experienced an commanded accelerator input. I was stopping for a light on a section of the road where I always lose connection with the apple carplay in the vehicle. I suspect that there is an illegal radio jammer being used. On this particular occasion the traffic stopped at this location where I typically lose the connection from the phone to the infotainment system and the infotainment system resets. However this time the throttle advanced to almost full throttle without any input on the accelerator as my foot was on the brake in order to slow. I had to use full application of the brake in order to keep from hitting the car in front of me. Just as I started to shift the transmission to neutral the accelerator went back to idle. The event lasted about 5 seconds. My hypothesis is that some sort of radio interference is causing the system to reset and in this case it caused communication issues with the can bus or engine control module. I have not gone back to try and repeat the issue but the radio interference is still there in the same area. Rf interference should not effect the function of the engine or vehicle controls. Feel free to contact me [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

I have experienced a loss of fuel pressure/engine stall on several occasions. I am not sure of the specific dates yet I had to add one on this form. There has been a recall since July 2025, for which Ford has acknowledged this increases the risk of a crash yet there is still no resolution. This is unacceptable, I have listed the recall numbers below. Manufacturer recall number 25s75 NHTSA recall number 25v455.
3 separate safety-related components have failed on my 2021 Ford Bronco, all of which correspond to open federal safety recalls that remain unremedied: 1. Infotainment/apim module & backup camera system (recall campaign 26v124): my infotainment screen fails to turn on, particularly in high-temperature conditions. When this occurs, the rearview/backup camera is completely non-functional. The vehicle displays no image when in reverse gear, eliminating all camera-assisted visibility behind the vehicle. This directly matches the conditions described in recall 26v124, issued March 4, 2026. No remedy has been provided. 2. Digital instrument cluster / dashboard: my digital dashboard intermittently fails to illuminate at vehicle startup. This occurs randomly and without warning. When it fails, the driver cannot see critical safety information including current speed, fuel level, engine temperature, or any warning indicators. Video documentation of this failure exists. This component is available for inspection upon request. 3. Low pressure fuel pump (recall campaign 25v455): my vehicle has stalled on multiple occasions while in motion. During stall events, all dashboard warning lights illuminate simultaneously. This is consistent with the fuel delivery failure described in recall 25v455, issued July 8, 2025, which states the fuel pump can fail causing loss of fuel pressure and an engine stall while driving. No remedy has been provided since the recall was issued in July 2025 (~9 months ago). All components are available for inspection upon request. However, the authorized Ford dealership in the area has refused to accept the vehicle for service or inspection, citing parts unavailability. Engine stall while in motion. My vehicle has stalled multiple times while being driven. The driver works as a real estate agent and regularly transports clients in this vehicle. The engine has stalled with passengers present. A sudden engine stall while driving results in immediat.
I was driving the vehicle on high mountain pass roads in colorado. Anytime I would approach approximately 11,400 feet of elevation. The vehicle would instantly lose all power with no warning lights of any kind. All gauges were in the normal operating range. Vehicle would barely move 2 mph. Created a very unsafe condition on narrow steep dirt roads in the mountains. As soon as I turned around and descended approximately 100 feet in elevation the power came back instantly and vehicle operated normally. This happened on three occasions. The roads we were on were narrow, off-road vehicle mountain roads, and it created an extremely dangerous situation. I contacted Ford and they have not heard of this issue and there are no recalls associated with it. I spoke to a Ford Bronco ambassador, who was also on the trail system with a lot of other off-road vehicles, including Broncos and they had never heard of this happening . This vehicle is six months old. Ford says there are no codes set on my computer and since they cannot duplicate this where I live in phoenix because there are no roads high enough I don’t know where to turn.
Ford has failed to remedy recall 25v455 issued over 1 year ago !!!!!!!! my fuel pump failed in August of 2025 and left me (single female) stranded on side of interstate highway in 100' heat. Dealer confirmed in-tank fuel pump failed and replaced with another recalled pump. There was no warning that failure was happening until vehicle stopped in traffic. Had over 1/4 tank of gas at the time. Afraid to drive vehicle out of town because it could strand me again. Can not trade in vehicle because open recall reduces value of vehicle.
Engine started stalking and acting like it wasn’t getting enough gas about a month ago. Took to a dealership and they said u had a cracked file injector line. They supposedly fixed the issue. Today it started stalling again and shut off in the middle of the highway and wouldn’t crank back up. Tried jumping battery and it would turn over but acted like it wasn’t getting any gas when trying to give gas and take off then it would shut off again. Had to get a tow back to dealer ship.
In August while driving at highway speed on I-94, the engine started to stall in traffic with no warning lights or indicators. Outside temperature was in the mid 80’s. Had to carefully pull over and restart the vehicle, it continued to intermittently stall. After turning ignition off and restarting it cleared up. This is the third time this has happened in traffic at highway speeds. Once in June, once in July and this time in August. There is a recall for this, but it is concerning to drive on the highway.
Recall remedy not available. Causing safety concerns while driving.
The vehicle currently has three active recalls with each not having a remedy as of to date although one I was notified of 7 months ago. I have already had to have a faulty fuel pump repair within the first month or so of onset of purchase where vehicle just lost power and died on side of the road and had to be towed. Then had to fight the dealership and write complaint to Ford after having defective camshaft which took multiple attempts and documentation for Ford and the dealership to repair properly. Vehicle would shift between 2wd/4wd/awd randomly while driving. Then I had been notified about a windshield wiper motor recall that just dropped of out the system before attempting repair. So never had that update ran or problem addressed. Now I have three other major safety recalls. Definitely a lemon. Need Ford to stand behind their vehicle. I pay way too much not be safe. None of these failure or problems provided any prior warming indicators.
There has been no incident because of this recall, but it is going on 3 months since I was contacted about this recall. We worry about the fuel pump going out when we drive the car. I mean how long do you have to wait? I have my grandson driving this car.
I was notified that there is a safety recall on my vehicle and there is no remedy available. I am concerned because of the issue may cause me to stall and likely crash. This is very concerning . I am not sure why there’s not a remedy. I hope there is soon. Please tell me what can be done as soon as possible.
Loss of fuel pressure from fuel pump failure.
There is a recall on this vehicle (25s75), issued on July 8, 2025. As of the date of writing this, there is no remedy available. This is a safety issue, and the fact that it remains unresolved over a year later, is completely unacceptable. The NHTSA site says to file a complaint if the issue is not remedied in a timely manner, and this is certainly not a timely remedy.
My 2022 Ford Bronco has two active recalls for low pressure fuel pump failure and front seat height-adjust pivot bolt and link replacement with no available remedies. This vehicle has gone thru numerous recalls which I believe this poses a safety and financial hardship.
Component or system that failed or malfunctioned: the fuel delivery system, specifically the fuel pump, which is subject to an active safety recall. The recall states that fuel pump failure can result in loss of fuel pressure and flow, leading to engine stall. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. How safety was put at risk: a sudden engine stall while driving would result in an immediate loss of propulsion and power, creating a significant risk of collision, particularly at highway speeds or in traffic. This creates a dangerous situation for the driver, passengers, and surrounding vehicles due to the inability to accelerate or maintain speed. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or service center: the defect has been confirmed by the manufacturer through an official safety recall. At this time, there is no repair remedy available. The vehicle has not yet been repaired due to lack of an available fix. Has the vehicle or component been inspected: the vehicle has not yet been physically inspected for this specific failure because the recall remedy is not available. The defect has been acknowledged by the manufacturer as part of the active recall. Warning lamps, messages, or symptoms prior to failure: at this time, there is no warning indicating when or if the fuel pump may fail. The recall states the failure may occur without warning. No prior warning lamps or messages have reliably indicated when the failure could occur. Additional information: due to the nature of this defect and the lack of an available repair, I no longer feel the vehicle is safe to operate. The uncertainty of a sudden engine stall has created ongoing safety concerns and financial hardship, as I am responsible for a vehicle that may fail without warning.
I have a 2021 Ford Bronco and the rear shock absorbers are both bad on my car it is dangerous to drive I have taken it to 2 different Ford dealerships one in morgantown wv and one in fairmont wv and was told there was nothing they could do about it. Then I contacted Ford motor company and spoke to someone and was told there was nothing they could do and the vehicle was safe to drive although it states in the recall it increases risk of crash. I was told to file a complaint and on top of all that they won’t give me an inspection sticker. When you hit a pothole bump or any other obstruction is throws the rear end of the car out from under you and is terrifying. Now there is a recall on the fuel pump I havnt exactly experienced this personally that I’m aware of. Thirdly I was in an accident just last month I rear ended someone on the interstate going about 65 and the air bags did not deploy. In summary it’s absurd that Ford is allowing people to make payments on vehicles with their hard earned money they one are unsafe and two have nothing but issues and are unwilling to do anything about it.
3 different incidents have came up with recalls that have been going on for awhile this a working vehicle that makes my money to pay for the loans, which for over a year have not made me any money costing me to lose money out of my own pocket, Ford has not been willing to work with because it’s a used vehicle and I didn’t barrow money from to purchase this has been going on for more than a year it is ridiculous!!.
There is a manufacture recall for the low pressure fuel pump malfunctioning #25s75/NHTSA#25v455. There has been no action by the manufacturer to remedy this issue in a timely manner. This issue has been ongoing for over 1 year now with no corrective measures.
