Two problems related to blower have been reported for the 1996 Ford Contour. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Blower motor failure. The blower controls the defroster and heater. The failure results in fog, frost etc so visibility is greatly limited. If one can see well an accident is possible.
Had received several recalls on vehicle springs, recall 01v230000, and heater blower sensor, recall 01i009000. Took vehicle to dealership's mechanic several times to have repairs done, even left vehicle with mechanic. Received call to pick up vehicle, and also informed none of the recalls were ever repaired.
