Turn Signal problems of the 1998 Ford Contour

Two problems related to turn signal have been reported for the 1998 Ford Contour. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Turn Signal problem

Failure Date: 05/25/2004

Intermittently the turn signal malfunctioned. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the bulb needed to be replaced.

2 Turn Signal problem

When applying the turn signal, the light blinks excessively fast. Dealer says the turn signal bulb was open. Dealer has fixed the problem.
