1 Tail Light Switch problem

Failure Date: 05/21/2019

I had my lcm recall fixed on my Ford Crown Victoria at 98,000 miles, the day I picked it up everything seemed fine, and then I went to use my automatic headlight and they were still un-operable. My tail lights and my parking lamps also do not work after this recall work also. I have tried getting the Ford dealership to call me back, and I cal everyday and they tell me they will call me the next day, and still nothing. Now my car has 127,000 miles on it and they still have not fixed the problem, and Ford says that it's out of warranty. How is a 3,000 mile recall warranty even remotely a good idea? I work 7 days of the week and I had to buy another grand marquis to drive while I wait for these sob's to call me after all this time, I very rarely drive at night and would have never noticed this if I had not went out to pickup my family member after 8pm.

2 Tail Light Switch problem

Failure Date: 05/16/2017

Ford issued a recall for my 05 Ford crown vic. The dealer that has my car for the recall is unable to fix the situation. The lighting control module they were trying to put in my car is for a car that has auto lamps. My vehicle by VIN is not equipped with auto lamps, therefore the recall part they have will not work on the cars without autolamp option. To other people out there call a dealership have them check by VIN if your car has auto lamp option if not, do not take it for recall. They have had my car for a week without the problem being fixed. They are going to put my old lcm back in my car tomorrow so I can have my vehicle. In the end my problem with lcm still will not be fixed, so my tail lights will still not be working. Thank you Ford for not being able to fix the problem that is your fault. The dealers did not even offer a loaner vehicle for my time.

3 Tail Light Switch problem

Failure Date: 03/28/2014

I was driving down hwy 39/ franklin street in village of linden it was dark out. My headlights went out. Then would not come back on. My tail lights and turn signals still were on. Then after about 2-3 minutes headlights came back on then went stopped working again. Was going 30mph and a car was coming towards me this could of caused a crash. In researching this problem this is a know problem for 2005 Ford crown vic this is a police car yet no recall has been issued.

4 Tail Light Switch problem

Failure Date: 03/06/2014

I was driving at night and a car hit me in the rear. The other driver said he didn't see me since I did not have my lights on. I showed him that they were on but yet the tail lights were not. When I had a shop check for the problem, they said the fuses, bulbs and relays were fine. They said the problem is a common problem with this model and it is a lighting control module which costs over $500. They said Ford has known about the problem but still has not recalled the item. When I searched on the internet, I find a ton of people reporting this problem. This could have easily caused serious injury and/or death to all involved. I am shocked at Ford.
