Contact stated while starting the vehicle it revved. When placing the vehicle into drive it did this almost causing an accident. The service dealer did some repairs to the vehicle, but it did not remedy the problem. At first it would do this when the vehicle was cold, but the service dealer replaced an iac valve. Currrently it does it when the vehicle is hot or cold.

On 10/31/03, the accelerator on a 1996 Ford Crown Victoria stuck causing a property damage accident which was reported to the police. The vehicle was being driven by my daughter. The vehicle exhibited the same problem when my son was driving it on 11/25/03. My son had to put the vehicle in neutral as the brakes would not stop with the brakes applied or stop accelerating. This is an extremely dangerous condition.
