The intake manifiold cracked, causing the coolant to keep running out, that crack sucked in so much air, causing the coolant to steam and then causing my engine to seize up. Also the coolant was pouring onto the alternator, causing it to go bad. Ford will not cover one single bit of their defect. They recalled the 96-97 taxis, interceptors, and mustangs for the same problem, just not my car.

Intake manifold cracked where alternator is mounted. Had noticed minilmal coolant leak and gradual increase in temp over the last year. Finally found crack in plastic intake manifold.
While driving at speed limit vehicle lost power steering without warning.
While pulling into a parking space heard noise. Consumer got out of vehicle and noticed a large crack in front of the manifold, it leaked coolent. Please provide further information.

The consumer stated that under moderate acceleration front panel of the intake manifold water passage crossover failed and water sprayed under the vehicle resulting in temporary loss of control.
