While driving at various times electrical problems occur, headlights will go out along with instrument panel. Sometimes the fan on will come on and will cut off even when it is off. When temp is cold heater blows cold air. Hot outside heats works. Ac works fine in both climates. Drivers side window will not come down in certain temperatures. Heads have low visibility and lens cover gets moisture inside. You have to drive at night with high beams to try and see at all. Suspension is definitely a problem on steering car has a swaying motion at times especially in warm weather popping, squeaky notices can also be heard. Vehicle has 92,000 actual miles but is becoming a hazard to drive. Vehicle has been inspected by a reputable repair service who states suspension looks good, parts have grease in joints, etc and heater problem everything was in specs. Large Ford dealership 35 miles away would not schedule an appointment due to car being an older model. If problems are not found, an accident is waiting to happen! note : electrical problems have been ongoing and have increasingly become worse.

The contact owns a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria. While driving approximately 45 mph and attempting to make a turn, the turn signals and headlights failed to work, except when the brake pedal was depressed. The contact also noticed that the tail lights did not work and the dashboard was blacked out. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer who was unable to schedule the vehicle for a diagnostic evaluation. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and stated that there was no recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 38,000.

I took car into miller Ford, provo after receiving recall, they said switch was defective. After 4 months of no communication called and they blamed Ford, called and complained to Ford, case# cas5163556-q3q3q3,said would get call dist. Mgr. Within 48 hours no calls. Problem headlights go out while driving. Six weeks ago while driving on dark road lights went out as a child ran across street while traveling 45mph, almost hit child. This is a safety recall that Ford is not handling in a time manner given the safety defect. Maybe dot can get these needed repairs ordered in a timely manner, or is a class action lawsuit needed to bring a negligent, uncaring manufacturer to do the right thing. It is sad they do a dangerous recall then fail to follow through, I guess I cannot buy from another american car manufacturer, have 7 other Fords, but planning to sell them.

Head lights turned off while driving on interstate hwy. At 70 mph needed to pull over and after 15 min. Heard click and lights came on (later occurances same thing happened) upon dealer repair at over $400+ learned this is a common occurance with this car. Has not happened since repair. Safety issue yes if you loose lights its pretty hard to see where you are going at night on a unlit roadway. Ford should recall these models and repair and refund those that had to pay for the repair.
Was driving along and the headlights flickered and went out. Over the pass year it has intermittently done the same. It happened again about a month ago and fortunately I had just stopped at a red light. Each time it took about 3 to 5 minutes to come back on. It is very disconcerting since this is a very serious safety issue. So please do not take this lightly, I use the expressway a lot and am driving in very congested traffic most of the time. I do not know what Ford has done about this problem since there are so many occurrences with these type of vehicles online. It needs to be addressed before a major accident occurs. Also most people like me cannot afford these expensive repairs that are not due to ordinary wear and tear, but a manufacturer's problem. If no action is taken it will be quite a disappointment because these cars are very popular and younger people are buying them which becomes more scary in light of the kind of drivers they are.
