Two problems related to defogger heater have been reported for the 1997 Ford E-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Had turned on heater and it failed to work. Can hear clicking sounds as if trying to come on. Also, vents do not open or close for heat.
The heater case malfunctioned, causing the heater defogger to be inoperative which may cause problems. Dlr replace heater case. Problem reoccurring. Please provide details.
