When backing out vehicle locked up in reverese gear. Vehicle was taken to dealership. Dealership found that a bolt that holds rear axle together had sheared off. This could have caused an serious crash if truck was being driven on highway. Mark iii conversion van. Problem will be corrected under warranty.

The front of the vehicle is overweight (the front steering axle is 4,000 pounds the door post legend indicates the front axle max gvm should be 3600 pounds) causing the tires to wear, the consumer replaced the tires with p235 6-ply and now the vehicle has no more tire problems, the tires are not properly sized by the manufacturer for this size and type of vehicle (michelin ltx-ms p235r75-15). Nlm.
