Two problems related to engine have been reported for the 1998 Ford E-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Blown spark plug threads. Repaired by self using timesert repair kit manufactured specifically for this engine and problem.
There is a hole in the left side engine head under the thermostat housing, when the holes break through, the engine compartment and cover inside of the van get covered with boiling hot antifreeze/coolant.
