Fuel Hoses Lines/piping And Fittings Problems of Ford E-350

I have a 97 Ford E-350 and the fuel line developed a leak due to the plastic outer coating rubbing against the line. I consider this a fire hazard as it is located directly above the exhaust.

High pressure fuel return line failed as I was ready to depart for the day. I had stopped after driving about 300 feet; upon exiting I smelled a strong fuel oder and noticed a fuel track leading from my vehicle.
