Equipment problem #1

The tire pressure monitoring system fails frequently while being driven. The first few times I pulled off the road and checked the pressures, and they were normal. I had the system checked at a Ford dealership and they couldn't find any problem. It failed again. I returned to the dealership and they said they couldn't find a problem and there is nothing they could do for me. So I drive away from the dealership and the same thing happens. Believing that they can't do anything I keep driving and manually checking pressures. Problem returns. I went to a different Ford dealership and they said they found a faulty sensor and replaced it. The same problem came back after less than a few miles. I needed gas so I filled up and realized that after turning the ignition off and restarting, the light on the dash and the warning went away. I returned to that dealership and they said after hearing my explanation. They couldn't do anything unless the fault was active at the time I brought it to them. So I was told to drive it until I got the safety warning and to not shut it off until I got to a Ford dealership. Really!!! not all Ford dealerships will service the e450s with rvs built on the chassis. Reasonable? no way! there is a problem with the system that Ford should be able to correct. I don't feel safe having to pull over and check tire pressures on a busy highway. And it's not necessary if they address the problem and fix it.

Recreational Vehicle/trailer Lpg Systems Lines And Fittings problem #2

The contact owns a 2022 forest river forester built on a Ford f-450 chassis. When the contact arrived at her destination and she turned on the propane she would smell propane inside the cabin of the RV. The contact stated she would smell propane outside as well. The contact stated that twice the CO alarm had activated after turning on the propane to heat the hot water tank. Additionally, the contact had stated that the main access door to the RV will become jammed. The contact stated that she had the door repaired three times and the door had failed three times. The door cannot be opened from the inside or the outside. And finally, the contact was having a night vision problem with a motion sensor activated entrance step light that is aimed at the interior steps at the entrance, the light is mounted on the wall. However the light would intermittently activate when she would hit a bump and the beam of light would shine directly at the driver. The contact stated that during night driving the light would diminish her night vision and had made night driving dangerous for her. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the there were no leaks with the propane system. The failure with the door had been repaired three times and the door had failed after repairs. The contact stated that the dealer advised her to cover the step light with duct tape to block the light. The vehicle had been partially repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
