Other Fuel System Problems of Ford E-450

Cp4 fuel pump explodes leaving me and my family stranded on the freeway for over 7 hours, and stuck 1300 miles from home. Dodge has already recalled and repaired there trucks. My truck is 2021 with 50k miles and now I'm expected to pay $15-20k for the damage's.

When refueling the gas pump clicks off after a few seconds. Sometimes it doesn't click off but back splashes fuel out the gas filler hole. I have had gas spray back several times, getting all over the RV, the ground, and my clothes. Repair places have said there is nothing they can do because it is a design flaw cause the fill tube is too flat. This seems like a huge fire risk to me.

Pulled up to stop sign. When making right turn, onto interstate frontage road, throttle quit working, wrench ligh and check engine light came on. Coasted to side of road. Vehicle had to be towed in to Ford dealer. Was told electronic throttle control shut down vehicle, and throttle body would have to be replaced. Had it happened another minute latter it would have failed in the middle of an interstate highway.

We were travelling north to south just outside of lasvegas when a spark plug blew out of the cylinder, with the injector still pumping fuel. In our 31' motorhome with a e450 engine. Did we not realize the seriousness of the situation the engine could have caught fire and caused extensive damage and possible injury. As a result this cost us $7200. 00 and the loss of use of our vehicle and home for 10 days. We have asked Ford motor company for some renumeration towards the cost of repairs because as we soon found out there have been thousands of these vehicles with the same problem. But because the vehicle was over 6 years old they would not provide assistance. We feel that even if we were compensated for the parts would be a fair response, because this situation could have resulted in a liability lawsuit. Leak in molded fuel line where line changes from hose to pipe. Not a wear item, safety issue. Fuel line is located over exhaust manifold, fuel leak detected before additional damage occurred.
