Tl- takata recall. The contact owned a 2007 Ford Edge. The contact calling on behalf of the drive and stated that while the driver was at a stoplight another vehicle crashed into the vehicle on the front driver side, the air bags failed to deploy. The driver did not sustained injuries. The driver was able to drive the vehicle to his residence. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was later taken to best Ford Lincoln dealer, located at 579 amherst st, nashua, nh 03063, (603) 889-0161, where it was diagnosed but could not determined a failure of the air bag. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact received a notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v024000 (air bags) and 14v682000 (fuel system, gasoline) however, the parts needed for the repair were not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called autofair Ford in manchester, 1475 s willow st, manchester, nh 03103, (603) 634-1001, where she was informed parts were not available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 103,000. 2 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 12/31/2017

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Ford Edge. While driving approximately 20 mph, the contact was involved in a front end collision. The air bags did not deploy. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was deemed operable by the insurance adjuster. There were no injuries. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 17v024000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The dealer was not contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact was informed not to have anyone occupy the passenger seat. The failure mileage was approximately 170,000. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

3 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 12/05/2015

While driving on the interstate I was cutoff by a driver and collided with a road divider barrier. My airbags did not deploy and now one of my passengers are in the hospital with injuries to the head and face.

4 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Ford Edge. The contact stated another vehicle crashed into the driver side and the air bags failed to deploy. There was not any injuries. A police report was filed. 5 Air Bag Not Deploy problem

Failure Date: 12/03/2007

Ford Edge turned left into parking lot. Rt rear tire hit curb. Drove straight into parking space almost stopped. Car accelerated, became airborn, made sharp left. 40mpr within 35-40 ft. Hit steel pole/concrete head on. Front & side air bags did not deploy & seat belts did not hold occupants. Believe computer took over after hitting tire. Computer is to bring car into control as if out of control on ice or snow but conditions were dry. Police claim driver stepped on gas instead of brake. Reported to Ford. Ford responded they had no recalls, and were not able to help. Edge was new model & no time had been allowed for recalls. Car repaired after 2 months. Attorneys wanted $50,000 up front to investigate. Owner did not have the finances to continue. 2 years of rehab & recovery with ongoing medical conditions. Ford needs reported/investigated, same as Toyota. Several witnesses.
