My question is I’m getting ready to buy a 2007 Ford Edge for my mother and she’s already put three water pumps on this car and it cost like almost 1000 bucks to do it every time. I don’t even know if it’s worth it but I was just wondering if there’s any recalls on something like that or if it’s something wrong with why it keeps going keeps messing up.
While driving the air bag symbol and wrench appears on the dash, car starts losing power, and when shifting gears there's a hard shift and clunking noise. Videos on youtube show many people with the same issue some say it's a sensor issue. Output shaft speed sensor and turbine speed sensor.

There has been a recall on the airbags. I have been calling for three months trying to get the airbags done and inspected. I have called four different dealerships and they are all giving me a hard time saying that they do not have the parts in stock and that it could "take months" to get the airbag ordered and in if they are even willing to do this. One mechanic told me that it was not that big of a deal. I do not feel safe like this and I want the airbag replaced. I am going around in circled with this and Ford will not help me. I have called Ford corprate to no avail. I am very upset about this and am asking that they fix this problem. The tire keeps going flat as well due to a defect with their rims/tires. There was also an issue where the engine can catch fire however, the people from Ford do not seem to care. They do not have to drive this car, I do and I need to feel safe. This is a serious accident waiting to happen. I want these items to get fixed and not have people deny all of this. This is an open recall and they are giving me a hard time. I need help. I have been calling for four months now and cannot get help. Please help me fix this so I do not get injured in this car as well as any passangers, etc. Thank you.
I am complaining that recall # 21s12 has been unresolved for years now. They have replaced the passenger airbag, but not the driver side. This is a serious issue and not addressing it in a timely matter puts me and my families safety at risk. In the case of the passenger airbag, I was offered a loaner vehicle. Now with the drivers side airbag recall, I have not been offered the same measure of safety. Thank you, sincerely, floyd baker.
I took my vehicle to get the smog done and they told me that the driver airbag inflator has to be replaced.
The ptu have a severe problem and the computer didn't warn for this problem until the car just stop getting out of the freeway, slowing down and making loud noises under also stop complity at the street and a car behind me almost crashed in my back, I tried to switch from drive to park and didn't move then I tried the reverse and make a loud sound then I put in drive and star advancing very slowly and with loud noise, finally I got home and smoke staring coming in the front driver side and the smell was a burning rubber. After I got out and let the car to cool down I tried to drive in reverse but the reverse didn't work, only from drive and l gear, I parked my car with the front end facing my home, I can't drive it it all.

Passenger frontal airbag inflater has had this recall, I call Ford in belmont nc, I was told they knew nothing about this, after giving my VIN number, I was told they could not much to help me; it had no recalls , I explained id saw it online & has 2 daughters 13 & 10, I was promised a manager would be in contact but never died. . . This was closer to the beginning of 2019. I now make both my children sit in the backseat, thinking of another car hitting us causing the damage this recall involves is terrifying. . .

Takata recall: we have received letters from the Ford motor company for more than a year now about this safety recall on the takata air bags, but have been informed by our local Ford dealership each time we have phoned that they still have not received parts in our region. The last letter we received from Ford was just this November 2018, and the last call I made to local Ford dealerships was today (12/6/18). The dealership (dave smith Ford) claims to not know when parts will arrive, but has stated that they will call us when they receive parts. This has been an inordinate amount of time for this recall work to occur, and we have received no good explanation, only more letters from Ford telling us to take action. We cannot do so without the dealership getting parts!.

Takata recall. I've been trying to get service for the takata airbag recall for the past year. I've called the Fords nearby and they don't have the parts. I'm currently on their email list for when the parts become available. I received a letter in the mail that parts would become available in the second and third quarters of 2018. I received that letter in may 2018. Also, I just received mail from the auto airbag settlement that stated that I need to get the recall as soon as possible. I called Ford today November 6, 2018 to see if the parts have come in but they still have not. Im not sure if I need to just continue to wait for a letter from a Ford company when the parts come in or if other people with the same recall have already gotten their cars fixed and I haven't been notified.

"takata recall" we have tried reaching out to several dealerships for the past year regarding both of our recall notices (airbag and fuel tank). Every time we received one we have contacted (3) nearby Ford dealerships in grand rapids, every dealership for the past year continues to inform us they do not have the parts and services and to call back in a month. Every month for the past year we have called - still no parts! we are aware this car came from florida from our report, which we purchased in michigan. Today, October 26th, 2018 received the settlement claim. It states we cannot be apart of the claims because we have not serviced our vehicle yet. However, we have tried for one full year to get this vehicle serviced! at this point in time, we are now considering hiring an attorney and attending the hearing on December 11th, 2018. We would like to receive notification how to get our recalls resolved and serviced in michigan, since noparts are available (on-going over one-year of calling). Please contact me directly how we are able to proceed?! michelle galinetti (formerly hiller when purchased the vehicle) bin number 2fmdk36c27ba80128 (517) 304-6188.
takata recall still awaiting available parts to complete this recall is what I am repeatedly told. This has taken way to long to be fixed, as I am still having to drive this car daily. I really don't feel totally safe driving a car in need of a very sensitive repair and having to transport my school kids daily as well. I have reached out to local dealerships, which continues to tell me to keep checking back, or just keep waiting to be contacted. A loaner until this problem is resolved would be great, but no such luck with that request either. Continuing to drive an unsafe car just isn't right!.

Takata recall Ford, the manufacturer, has repeatedly told me they have no parts to fix my car's bad airbags yet. This recall started in 2016 and I am concerned about driving my car. I just wanted you guys to know that Ford hasn't found a remedy yet.
Takata recall. Currently waiting for this to be fixed. At this time it is not safe to drive the car and cannot sell it to purchase another car. This has taken far too long to fix. Putting today's date since my last update was the rent a vehicle. We live in an extremely small rural area and that is not an option.
They still do not have the parts to fix the car. This has been going on way to long. I am driving an unsafe vehicle.
My dealership called me for my airbags to be replaced 9/25//18 @ 11am. The Ford company stated that the parts were not available. This company continues to misinform customers with their deceptive tactics. I have not received a letter stating that the parts are available from the Ford company. How can the customer make sure they are having the airbag recall replaced?.
Takata recall I have taken my car in twice to have the airbag problem fixed and twice I have been told the parts are not available, once in montana and now in texas.

Takata recall I took my 2007 Edge to my local dealership for the recent airbag shrapnel recall. I was informed that I would need to join a waitlist, for when the parts become available. In the meantime, im supposed to drive my car, knowing the possible fatal risk, and "just refrain from allowing passengers to ride there". Umm. . Hello what about my life??? I was told no loaner vehicle and to know, "if we survive, we could be very rich with a lawsuit" from an employee. This will not suffice and I need a remedy.
Takata recall bought the car last year 06/21/2018 as a used car.
