Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2010 Ford Edge

Sames dealership in bastrop texas says the drivers side airbag is not on the recall. . Therefore they would not change out for me.

I was making a left hand turn onto a main road another driver broad side hit me on the driver side of the car side airbags never went off that I paid for and could of saved my injuries they were part of my purchase of the car to save me my car the insurance company has it as a total loss does not help me none.

"takata recall" I received a notice of the passenger side air bag being defective and in need of replacement. I have contacted the dealership multiple times over the last two years to ask for it to be replaced. I have been told each time I call that there are no air bags available for replacement. So I still have a recalled air bag in place in my vehicle. I am concerned that due to the takata bankruptcy that I will be left with no replacement of the air bag and have an unsafe vehicle. I just want the air bag replaced.

Takata recall. This car is under recall for the passenger side airbag. I did not receive any notification and Ford is unwilling to provide a loaner. They have no eta for the repair, but are guessing second quarter 2017. So we are supposed to drive this car until second quarter 2017 without using the passenger seat or sitting anything in the passenger seat?? really? Ford should be providing free loaners and should have notified our family by mail!! same airbag with a Subaru we own and yet Subaru notified us by mail and provided a free loaner. The ntsb should be more protective of consumers where Ford is concerned.

Takata recall: Ford has no remedy/action for the replacement of our recalled takata passenger side airbag. Our dealer, star Ford in glendale, CA, has no answer. I have great anxiety over driving a car with the potential to kill myself or my passenger. The NHTSA should be forcing Ford to provide a remedy for car owners. We need to be protected from this massive fraud and abuse. Takata has now been convicted of multiple crimes, the customers of Ford are in danger and we are not receiving action. This is a considerable hardship to myself and I want Ford to take action - replace airbag immediately.

Takata recall, NHTSA recall number16v384. Since June 1, 2016, Ford has not replaced our front passenger side airbag. Due to the nature of the air bag problem we are not able to use the front passenger for fear of injury to the occupant. This is been going on for over a year,.

Takata recall. There has been a recall for over a year now and it has still not been resolved. Passenger side airbag recall from June 2016. I am filing a complaint because this is unacceptable.

Passenger side air bag needs replacement.

The contact owned a 2010 Ford Edge. The contact was stopped for a traffic stop when another vehicle crashed into the driver's side of her vehicle. The side air bags did not deploy. The contact was uninjured however, two passengers sustained injuries to the shoulder and neck and were transported to the hospital via ambulance. The vehicle was destroyed. A police report was filed. The dealer was contacted who advised that he would contact the manufacturer and a representative would contact her. The contact was awaiting a response from the manufacturer in regards to the air bag failure. The failure mileage was 22,000.
