2 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 07/08/2025

I took my 2010 Ford Edge to have a air bag recall repaired. The air bag was fixed, the air bag light cleared. I drove about 3 miles home and the light reappeared, I checked the code and it was b2293-03 air bag fault. My wife called right away and told them the light came on and the car can't be inspected until it's clear. They told my wife it would be $200 to take a look at a repair they literally just took their hands off of. All I want is this safety feature fixed right without the $200 fee which is crazy when I just picked it up.

25 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 12/17/2018

I went into auburn Ford over a year ago and inquired about the airbag recall. The service manager informed me that none were available and then attempted to convince me it wasn't necessary. In June 2018, I received a recall letter telling me that as the parts come in during the second and third quarter of this year, I will be contacted for my airbag replacement. The letter even offered a free rental car if I was uncomfortable driving my current car. On June 12, I requested a car and was told no car was available and I would be called when one became available. I never received the call. Now it is almost 2019, so I contacted auburn Ford again only to learn that still no airbags were available for my car. Ford has reneged on it's responsibility to provide me with safe transportation by failing to install new airbags or provide me with a rental vehicle. Ford has ignored the problem by refusing to address it; thus jeopardizing the safety of the occupants in my car.
