The contact owns a 2020 Ford Edge. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the rear window shattered without impact. The dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was informed that the VIN was not included in a recall. The vehicle was taken to safelite auto glass where the window was replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was transferred to the NHTSA hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 23,500.
Was just driving along and the back window just shattered. Already repaired tempered glass it did not hurt anyone. No safelite auto glass no unknown.
