The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who informed the contact to use two bottles of fuel cleaner. The mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure.   the vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the torque converter needed to be replaced. The contact was not repaired.
