The service manager at kennedy Ford collision in conshohocken PA was kind enough to look at the vehicle and confirm that it is defective. Ford declined assistance. The Ford rep would not admit that there is a defect despite advising me that Ford service managers have superior expertise in evaluating failures.
We own a 2003 Ford Escape SUV. The paint is peeling of the back tailgate. This car has been garage and only has 80,000 miles. This paint should not peel off like this. The dealer said I could pay $300 to have it repainted.
