The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated they would have to replace the retractor assembly for the seat belt at a cost of $500. The dealer advsied that the parts needed for repairs were no in stock and were ordered. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 60,000.
