The contact owns a 2017 Ford Escape. The contact stated while driving unknown speed, the rear passenger window was going up and down catch the contact grandson arm causing minor injuring. The contact tried to stop the window from going up and down, but the window would not stop. The contact had to driving home and it stop when the vehicle was shut down. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the widow switch assembly was replaced, but the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken to the dealer again and the master window switch was replaced. The contact inquiring on recall NHTSA campaign number: 16v617000 (visibility, electrical system) and they stated that the vehicle was not included in the recall and that the contact had to pay out of pocket. The manufacturer was contacted, and they advised to file a complaint with the nhsta. The failure mileage was 57,187.
