The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was determined that the part needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. Was opening the sunroof cover and one side of the tracks came off. It will not close all the way now.

3 Sun/moon Roof Assembly problem

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed and attempting to open the sunroof, the interior sunshade would opened however would not retract closed as intended. Eventually, the moonroof was able to close; however, the closing resulted in damage to the overheard liner. No warning lights were illuminated.
