One problem related to brake disc caliper has been reported for the 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both front brake caliper flexible brake lines failed at the same time. I was fortunate that I was at low speed, hooking up my trailer at the time. No accident occurred. The brake fluid dumped on the inside of both front tires.
