The right passenger airbag exploded when deployed, separating entirely from the dashboard and was briefly on fire, then smoking on the floor.

Was traveling 35-40mph another vehicle turned in front of consumer's vehicle and was hit head-on. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed. No injuries or emergency room treatment. Went to dealer later.

Vehicle hit pole head-on at 30 mph, and neither airbag deployed, $ amount of damage unknown.

While waiting to make a turn another car hit consumer's vehicle on right side. Dashboard cracked, but none of frontal airbags deployed. Also, seat belt came loose. The driver was injured during the accident.

Consumer was traveling about30 mph on a side street and another vehicle hit consumer's vehicle on broadside, and vehicle was totaled, but air bags didn't deploy.

While driving at 35 mph hit another vehicle tha tpulled out in front of consumer. Consumer hit the back of the other vehicle. Upon impact, none of the airbags deployed.

Was driving vehicle approximately 40mph when air bags partially deployed. One on driver's side was in flames. Then, passenger's side started to burn. No indications of air bag areas being hit or vehicle hitting anything when it happened. Vehicle was a rental from enterprise. The driver says some one hit him just before the airbag deployed.

Consumer was traveling about 35mph on highway and hydroplaned off the road. Then, she went down an enbankment. Airbags didn't deploy at all, and consumer sustained internal injuries, and suffered post trauma.

Consumer has car to dealer 6 times for a loose airbag, consumer says it jiggles a lot when driving down the street because the panel that airbag is in is very loose. Consumer feels this is very unsafe for passengers.

Defective driver's and passenger's air bags malfunctioned, and did not deploy at a frontal impact of 30 mph, which did not protect the occupants in this crash. Mechanic said the airbags were defective.

Weather was 74 degrees, I t-boned vehicle in the wrong @ 25mph. Neither airbag deployed on impact, seatbelt unfastened causing me to hit windshield and get leg caught under steering column. Possible permanent injuries.

Consumers vehicle was struck from behind & knocked into vehicle in front. Hood & headlights had to be replaced. 29-Aug-2000, another vehicle struck consumer's vehicle from the side, and airbags didn't deploy. Consumer spoke with different dealers & got the run around. Consumers was very concerned if it was defective.

Consumer tried to reduce speed to avoid rear ending another vehicle that stopped in front of her vehicle, but it was too late. During collision both air bags experienced no deployment.

Consumer was traveling on a country road and a deer ran in front of vehicle. Airbags deployed into consumer's face, and substance that came out, made her very sick.

Consumer was driving high speed between 60 to 65mph and another vechicle jumped in front of him. Consumer made a sudden stop to avoid hitting vehicle. He swerved and flipped over three times. Upon impact, airbag didn't deploy. Consumer sustained injuries, suffered a broken leg/ arm and pelvic bone. Was taken to hospital.

While driving at night at approximately 50mph a deer ran out in front. Vehicle swerved to avoid hitting deer. It went off the shoulder. Brought vehicle back to the road and vehicle tipped on the driver's side. Then came back on all four, and continued down the road out of control hit an embakment head-on. Neither airbags deployed. Contact dealer and manufacturer.

While driving at 25-35 mph consumer's vehicle rear ended vehicle in front that all of a sudden's sides. Consumer contacted dealer.

Vehicle was at a stop light all of a sudden both air bags deployed. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that it was caused was by water intruding on circuit board module located under driver seat. Repairs were made, but water still kept entering. Consumer believed the problem was due to a/c condensation. Dealer notified and refused to correct problem, knowing this can cause the air bags to deploy again. Seeking NHTSA help inthis matter.

While stopping on a red light the air bags deployed without a reason.

While driving at 40 mph there was a tire in the middle of the road. Consumer turned quickly to avoid hitting the tire, and lost control. Vehicle went into the woods and hit a pole. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed.

Vehicle experienced no deployment of air bag when impacted in the front and rear of the car. (attorney for consumer). Nlm.

Vehicle was involved in an accident in which vehicle rolled into a ditch while coming to a stop at approx. 25 mph in heavy rain condition. Upon impact, both air bags deployed and bursted. Driver received chemical burns to his fingers, and passenger received chemical burns to one of his eyes and face. Dealer/manufacturer notified. Seeking help from NHTSA in this matter.

Consumer was driving approximately 45mph when a deer jumped over gaurdrail head-on in front vehicle. Air bags deployed, the passenger side damaged consumers eye.
