Tire Bead problems of the 2000 Ford Excursion

1 Tire Bead problem

Failure Date: 10/13/2014

I have a set of autoguard tires size 265/78/16 that were installed on my SUV apx November of 2013 in October of 2014 the tires started to developed crack along the bead line above the rim. This is the same effect or defect that resulted in the recall of autoguard tire size 245/75/16. Both the tire that were the subject of the recall as well as the tires that were install on my SUV were manufactures in the same time period and I believe have tghe same dot no of 4412.

2 Tire Bead problem

Failure Date: 01/15/2011

A goodyear treva lt245/75r16 with 1000 miles on it has suffered separation of the rubber near the bead. The internal tire consitituents are visible. The defect runs (on the outside of the tire) about 8" and the delamination gap is about 1/4". The inside of the wheel defect is 1" long and 1/8" gap. Pictures of he defect are available. No accident or vehicle damage has occured. Dealer was not responsive to remediation although its beenreported that goodyear load range e light truck tires have had many "silent recalls".

3 Tire Bead problem

Failure Date: 09/21/2004

Consumer received reimbursement for the tires he replaced. Consumer had a problem keeping his vehicle on the road.

4 Tire Bead problem

Failure Date: 07/03/2003

Consumer states tire bubbled up under the tread, causing a blowout. Dealer notified.
