Paint Problems of Ford Excursion

Large patches of paint topcoat peeling from vehicle roof, absolutely no evidence of primer having bonded/ adhering to separated topcoat, peeled paint is identical on both sides, obviously primer intended to integrate topcoat with substrate was faulty and not acceptable.

2003 Ford limited Excursion the black paint is coming off the roof in 4 inch sheets to the metal and rusting. The hood is also starting to check up and chip badly the front fenders are missing 2 inch pcs of paint down to bare metal and rusting the dealer and Ford motor CO said its not there problem and they've never heard of this.

Factory paint peeling. Started on hood and door jambs, now on roof. I cannot believe a government agency would allow paint to peel and contaminate in the environment.

The paint is peeling off of my 2000 Excursion. The dealership body shop manager, Ford regional manager, service manager and everyone who has looked at the vehicle all agree that this is a manufacturing defect in the lack of application of the "seal coat". I brought this to the attention of the dealership while my warranty was still 100% valid and was casually brushed aside as surface scratches. Now chunks of paint are flaking off of the body. The dealership and Ford want me to pay $1,000 portion of repairing/repainting. I want the defective paint fixed. Meanwhile I have been getting the run around for the past 4-5 months.

Factory paint is chipping and pealing all over 2000 Excursion. Originally started when I purchased the vehicle used in 2002. Have talked with several people with Excursions and pick up trucks with the same issue.
