Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1997 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front brake rotors failure.
When braking normally, on any type of road surface, truck does not stop properly. Brakes grind and squeal very badly. Driver is actually able to feel the grinding through the brake pedal. Truck was taken to the dealership. The rotors will need to be replaced because of hard spots.
