Two problems related to brake abs warning light have been reported for the 1998 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Abs warning light on instrument panel came on and stayed illuminated upon starting up of vehicle. Dealership examined vehicle, and determined abs control module had failed and had to be replaced at consumer's expense. Please provide any additional information / documentation.
At very slow speeds brakes do not function properly--brake pedal goes to floor, vibrates as if abs is operating and vehicle slowly coasts to a stop, resulting in extended stopping distance. Abs light goes on. Both left and right front abs sensors replaced and incidents still occurred.
