Two problems related to ignition switch have been reported for the 1998 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The vehicle lost power while consumer was traveling due to a defective ignition switch. The loss of power resulted in brake and steering failures.
While vehicle was in park with ignition turned off and with driver standing outside of vehicle and reaching into ignition to take keys out vehicle began to roll backwards and slammed into the pavement, hitting a parked car before coming to a stop.
