Two problems related to ball joint have been reported for the 1999 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated the air suspension seized because the ball joints were detaching. After the suspension seized the check suspension light illuminated.
The front end ball joint broke which disconnected the front end and tires. Ford attempted to repair the vehicle but it was later deemed irreparable due to structural damage. Recall information was recently posted on the internet related to this failure.
