Two problems related to front suspension lower ball joint have been reported for the 1999 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer stated that while driving and no warning the front passenger side ball joint fell onto the ground and the consumer was forced to pull over. Dealer notified. Ts.
The lower ball joint on the passenger side snapped in half without warning. As a result the vehicle collapsed to the ground. The mechanic replaced the ball joints.
