Two problems related to speed control linkage have been reported for the 1999 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was pulling off from a stop and vehicle suddenly took off like driver's foot was pressing on gas pedal. This sudden acceleration resulted in a crash, and vehicle was totaled. . . .
Vehicle hesitated while accelerating, resulting in a collision. Dealer has inspected vehicle, and has not been able to duplicate or correct the problem. The vehicle had 5 repairs done for the same problem.
