Three problems related to tank assembly have been reported for the 1999 Ford Expedition. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Car stalls while sitting in a nose down postion for less than 2 minutes when 1/3 of tank or less. Dealer and manufactuer indicate known problem in design, but no fix at this time. Accident waiting to happen.
Car stalls within 2 minutes on a nose down incline with 1/3 of tank of fuel and almost impossible to restart. It is as if it runs out of fuel.
