My daughter annie camargo was traveling to san antonio texas,when she hear a noise on the back of the vehicle,she stop and saw the tire was badly and damage the fender ;.

Tread separation on continental contitrac SUV tires. With 48,000 miles on vehicle, and routine service, tread in good visual condition. Tread separation on two different tires w/I 30 days. All four tires replaced. Some minor damage to SUV body. Scared me.

3 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 09/30/2004

Recall 02t012000 concerning continental tired separation. Manufacturer was contacted regarding this recall, and consumer was told that because dot numbers did not match the tires on vehicle were not subject to the recall. Manufacturer will not honor the recall.

4 Tire Tread/belt problem

Failure Date: 01/01/1901

Continental tire equipment on 2004 Ford Expedition is separating on the front tires. The tread separated on the front tires. *m.
