2006 Ford Expedition. Consumer states vehicle will activate the engine fail safe mode and vehicle will shut down while driving the consumer stated when the vehicle shut down, loss of power steering occurred. The consumer stated upon stopping, he discovered that turning the ignition switch to the off position and turning it back to the on position, the engine would re-start. The dealership was unable to find any problem by running a diagnostic check. The consumer stated no warning lights appeared, except when the engine fail safe mode activated. The engine safe mode warning disappeared upon starting the vehicle.
