Due to the failure, the roof headliner needed to be replaced a second time. The contact stated that the panoramic sunroof had never been used and had remained covered. The manufacturer had been notified of the failure and referred him to the NHTSA hotline. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
