The contact owns a 2014 Ford Expedition. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the rpm's increased rapidly, and he became aware that the vehicle had downshifted on its own, prompting him to pull to the shoulder of the roadway. After restarting the vehicle, it returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the speed sensor. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related it to customer satisfaction program 19n01. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 106,000.

Abs braking system intermittently engages while driving, resulting in vehicle not being able to stop. Dealer has been contacted. No results, dealer couldn't find any problem, replaced wheel sensor, no result as well. It happens while loe speed driving only. This is a daily routine.
