Front Seat Belt Retractor Problems of Ford Expedition

Seat belt retract mechanism weak on drivers side. Often does not retract and door slams on it. Found this also to be true for my dads 2001 Ford ranger.

Lap belt in rear seat would not retract whenever shoulder belt was used on rear driver's side. If the shoulder belt was released from the child safety seat the lap belt would retract. Dealer notified, and informed consumer to contact manufacturer. However, no reponse was received. Car seat cannot be safely placed in the middle seat with this defective seat belt. Seatbelt was replaced with another defective belt. No help from Ford.

The center seat belt is incapable of restraining any car seat snuggly. I have contacted my Ford dealer and Ford, and they have no fix for this problem. No one I know has been ablw to get a child seat in this center position securely. Please help!.

Driving down highway and stopping at a red light the seat belt broke off from the frame of the door and hit driver in head. Vehicle has been repaired.

When installing css on the left side of second row the middle seatbelt retractor will quit working due to pressure on the left seat. It is a design flaw.

When installing css on left side of second row the middle seatbelt retractor will quit working due to pressure on the left seat.

Center/rear seat belt will not retract, consumer has contacted the dealer , dealer has yet to replace any parts.
