The stability control warning light was illuminated during the failure. The failure and current mileages were 54,000. Updated 07/02/12 the consumer stated the vehicle was repaired by a local Ford dealer on June 25th. The steering angle sensor which generated the steel wheel position data input for the roll stability control system was identified as faulty .
