Transmission Failure problems of the 1997 Ford Explorer

1 Transmission Failure problem

Tl- the contact owns a 1997 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that while driving 45 mph, the transmission failed. The contact stated that the transmission would stop and the engine would rev. The contact waited for the engine stop revving. The contact the drove the vehicle to the dealer for inspection. The dealer stated that the speedometer needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified and they stated that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle. The failure mileage was 256,000. Ap.
