Tl- the contact owns a 2012 Ford Explorer. The contact stated that while driving at about 75 mph, a wrench light warning illuminated. The vehicle lost power and decelerated to 2 mph. The contact heard a roaring noise from the engine but was able to roll the vehicle to the roadside and turned off the engine. Her husband took over, restarted the vehicle and drove home without any incident. However, the failure recurred about four days ago and the vehicle was taken to a local dealer who was unable to replicate the failure. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure.
