Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford Explorer. The contact stated while driving approximately 50 - 55 mph, the driver's side windshield molding detached from the vehicle. The contact stated that there was a rattling sound from air seeping through the windshield. The contact contacted homer skelton Ford (6950 hanna cove, olive branch, ms 38654; (662) 638-0369) who replaced the windshield molding on the driver's side. The contact stated the failure recurred on the passenger's side. The passenger's side was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer referred the contact to NHTSA. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
