Four problems related to tire bubble have been reported for the 1998 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer noticed a bubble in middle of the tire on a 1998, Ford, f150, original equipment, tire size p235/70r16, dot# a308443268. Dealer was not notified at this time. Feel free to provide any further information.
Pe00 020; vehicle was parked in the garage and she noticed driver's front tire was completely flat. Tire firestone wilderness#ht p235/70r16. There were no injuries. Two tires had bubble by the tread.
Consumer took vehicle in for a routine check up and mechanic told consumer that there were bubbles in tires, consumer was very concerned.
I took my tires to a Ford dealer and showed them. The only thing they said was that I better get them changed or park my truck. These tires still look new. But they are getting air bubbles under the tread. Belts are coming apart or broken. But the tread still looks like new. I dont think it is fair , they have a problem with these tires and wont fix them. I have even talked to my Ford dealer about your advisery and they said it doesnt mean anything to them. Please dont let these people get away with this. My wife and 4 kids ride with me, I cant afford to loose them becouse some tire company feels like they dont have a problem. Thanks.
