Two problems related to transmission gear slipping have been reported for the 1998 Ford F-150. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Transmission slips in between gears 2 and 3rd and 4th gear on automatic.
Transmission slips between second and third gear at 40-43 mph. Dealer contacted, and stated problem is intermittent and cannot remedy problem. Problem still exists. Provide further information.
